Why Does God Thunder?

Why does God thunder?
The small applause grows into boisterous chatter
The cleansing of it all so pure
So,
Why does God thunder?
A light reminder
Magnificent in music
Playing all over the world
In different cords
Why does God thunder?
How beautiful He is
I imagine on the day He returns
It will thunder
As His feet place themselves on bare ground
He’s always been a giant among us
His movements will flow like a comfortable breeze
From the sweet smell of a floral arrangement
Some will fall to their knees in prayer
And those that do not believe will believe
So,
Why does God thunder?
Amusement is not the objective
So clear we’ve all been taught
God’s thunder is love
And His lightening is disquieted equanimity-

And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. ~Exodus 19:19~

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire. He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven ...~Revelation 10:1-11~

Don’t Give Up On Your Dreams

Maybe the passion isn’t there anymore.  Something, I’ve wanted so badly has turned into a curse of something I’m tired of working so hard to obtain.  It’s like having my heart broken all over again -like the first time.  Is giving up so bad?  Maybe, what I believe in my core soul is not my true destiny.  Then why do I want it so badly?  Hey, we don’t always get what we want in this life.  That’s what my great-grandmother said when I told her I’d hire a maid when I grew-up.  Frustrated- this time at not wanting to clean my room.  Her rebuttal was “welfare don’t give out maids.”  She was half wrong, I’m not on welfare.  Am I too keep trying when I continue to half-fail?  I hear all the greats in my head saying “never give up.”  I’m pretty sure there is someone in this world that kept trying until the last breathe left there lungs, and still no success.  Do they regret it?  I will never know.  What about those who seem to acquire their dreams with minimal effort?  I mean that is what is portrayed in the media, and in society.  I understand that I am old enough to know better, but somewhere in whatever normal had become; the lines have become so blurred in this world that reality seems fake and fake news seems real.  How can someone distinguish between the two?  How does someone know when to throw in that proverbial “white towel?”  What is the defining line?  Who will take that chance on me?  So many greats were told that they were never enough or had potential.  I mean a guy said “no” to Queen!  I’m no Queen, and maybe with some guidance and the courage of an experienced expertise in writing, I could be.  On which line should I stand?  Is it the grammatically errors that disgust the reader or the great content that keeps them engulfed?

Wait Patiently

God Said

Wait patiently,
Like Abraham and Sarah for Issac
Wait patiently
Like Jacob wanting to wed Rachel
Wait patiently
Like the Israelites for the day they fled Egypt
Wait patiently
Like Hannah for the birth of Samuel
Wait patiently
Like Joesph reuniting with his family
Wait patiently
Like David in the mist of Saul’s rage
Wait patiently
For an answer to all prayers

Wait patiently
God hears them all

Wait patiently
Even in the middle of a storm

Wait patiently
God is there

"Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer."~Romans 12:12~

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”~Psalm 37:7~

Happy Mother’s Day

Their really are no words or ways to say “thank you” to a mother.  A woman who sacrifices so selflessly in times of joy and in times of great peril.  A woman who keeps a steady hand while trying to make sure food is on the table, appropriate clothing are on our backs and integrity is coursing through our souls.  “Thank you” just doesn’t seem to suffice when evil penetrates the mind and mama has the words of encouragement, or disappointment occurs and mummy has the insight to inspire.  What can you say to ma who gives everything of themselves for our success?  The only options are to try our hardest to say “thank you” by working everyday to be the best version of ourselves.  Putting into action all the wisdom instilled over and over in the hippocampus that is now stored in the cortex. I have found that being the best version of myself puts a smile on her face, resounding that all the late nights up with us sick, all the elementary music concerts attended after a long day of work, through all the ups and downs of our sometimes rebellious lives, were well worth it for mommy.

“The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.” ~Genesis 3:20~

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” ~Proverbs 31:28-31~

“And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.”

How Do You See God?

Some might see this as just eggs in a pan.
I see this as God saying He loves me too!

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;

I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God Said

We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 1 John 5:19

Revelation 12:7-12

There was a war in heaven.  The evil one fought with his angles and was defeated by God and his angles with Micheal leading the battle.  The evil one was thrown to earth in a rage with revenge on his mind to destroy all those who believe and follow Jesus.  His plan is lies, rape, murder, family dissension, hate, greed, pride, discrimination, pain, loneliness, isolation, separation, degradation, false-hope, and many other ills aimed at bringing misery/pain disguised as truth wrapped in lies.  The ultimate betrayal.

Therefore, we need to stand strong in the mercy of God and become a solid body of one to defeat evil with; love, understanding, compassion, togetherness, forgiveness, loyalty, and most of all prayer, courage and strength to get through what the evil one has in store to retaliate.

Friday, April 10, 2020 - Good Friday

A solemn joyous day in remembrance of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Whom shed His blood so that our souls shall be saved.  I am truly unworthy of His suffering for I am a sinner.  I have fallen short in many ways and many times in my life.  I still feel the love of God in my heart, in my actions, in the peace He’s given me, in times of trouble, in times of doubt my God is still with me.  How blessed we are that God so loved the world that He has given His only begotten son.  Why would we not repent and follow Jesus?  Jesus says to love, to feed the hungry, to give drink to the thirsty, make strangers feel welcomed, clothed the naked, help the sick, and to visit the imprisoned.  That if we should be first, we should be last putting the needs of others before our own.  God said, greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Pray For Mercy As Our God is Merciful

I feel like God is near me, speaking to me and I pray I am not wrong.  I don’t want to hear Him incorrectly.  Covid-19 is taking lives.  The Government is saying it’s the old that are dying and people with prior health conditions, giving much of society a false sense of hope.  I have read stories of a 12 year old with no prior health issues who is on life support.  I read an article about a man in Detroit who is my same age (43 years old) who died from covid-19 and had no prior health issues.  Science can’t explain the wrath of God.  This society has turned to evil in ways that to the common person, they are oblivious (1 Corinthians 2:14).  The music, on the iPhones and electronics how evil has soaked in the minds, especially the minds of the young, making things that go against God’s laws seem normal. People put faith in science, in men.  God controls everything.  What is to be, what will be, and what has already been done is only through God.  I believe God came to me in my dreams weeks ago telling me of my future.  Now, I feel like He was reassuring me before all the tragedy that I would be okay.  God built me a beautiful house that is consecrated with His protection which was completed and ready right before the covid-19 seeped into my state.  I heard Him tell me to stay home. I have been actively praying the past year, denying my sin and asking God for help.  I am not perfect nor am I sinless, and I have been praying to be Holy, praying for wisdom and divine wisdom.  I have been trying with everything in me (Matthew 22:37)  to serve God and bring as many people as possible to Him, especially His children.  This is a crucial time for everyone to ask forgiveness.  Our God is a merciful God.  We can not serve two Gods.  We can not serve money, lust, greed, and be content in a world that endorses pain, misery, and injustice, lies handed out and deceiving as if it were love.  I believe we can plead with God.  Jesus is coming soon and everyone needs to get their life right with God. Immediately.

13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ~ 2 Chronicles 7:13-14~
