Why does God thunder?
The small applause grows into boisterous chatter
The cleansing of it all so pure
So,
Why does God thunder?
A light reminder
Magnificent in music
Playing all over the world
In different cords
Why does God thunder?
How beautiful He is
I imagine on the day He returns
It will thunder
As His feet place themselves on bare ground
He’s always been a giant among us
His movements will flow like a comfortable breeze
From the sweet smell of a floral arrangement
Some will fall to their knees in prayer
And those that do not believe will believe
So,
Why does God thunder?
Amusement is not the objective
So clear we’ve all been taught
God’s thunder is love
And His lightening is disquieted equanimity-

When he called out, the seven thunders sounded. And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven ...~Revelation 10:1-11~
