The devil and his demons.
May sound crazy, but I underestimated the devil and his demons. The good news is that God gives us power over the devil and his demons that some of us don't realize we have. I was so distracted by what I knew in my gut wasn't from God that I was lost. I was so lost, confused, second guessing myself, putting myself through turmoil, and ridicule. It took a spiritual advisor to open my eyes by praying heavily for me, for me to really see what was going on. Once I accepted God's words into my heart it snapped. God had been trying to tell me for a while, but I was ignoring him. The light bulb went on like my spiritual advisor had turned the switch. See, we can pray for things that we want in our lives. The devil and his demons know what we want and try to deceive us by sending what I thought was from God. In a way, after I came to my senses I've learned a lot about myself and my God. However, if I had continued doing what I knew was wrong, I would have still felt so weighed down....that's how you know it isn't God working but the devil and his demons, because you feel stressed, weighed down, I questioned everything, every day, all the time. I was even obsessing over the situation. Nothing should be on your mind more then God. When I realized what God had been telling me all alone I felt free. I felt better. We get so busy in our lives that we can lose focus of the goal. I lost focus, but now that I have regained my strength, I can learn from my mistakes.
Lesson to learn: Get rid of anything weighing you down today. Pray it away and believe in your heart that God has what he wants for you, and allow it in. In order to receive your blessing you have to let go of the sin......sometime letting go of sin is so hard.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Ephesians 4:31-32
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
